The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack SRD of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service position created for intervention encounters a significant influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the read more agency said.
